Your baby will change so much in those first few weeks, and newborn photography is a wonderful way to remember just how tiny they once were. My newborn sessions are relaxed and carefully planned, with plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and keeping your baby comfortable. My goal is to create beautiful, timeless portraits of your newest family member that you'll enjoy for years to come.

What to Expect During Your Newborn Session

I welcome families from North Fort Worth and the surrounding areas to my newborn photography studio in Paradise, Texas. My goal is to make your newborn session a relaxed and enjoyable experience, where you can simply enjoy watching your little one while I take care of the details.

Everything You Need for Your Baby

My studio is stocked with a beautiful collection of newborn outfits, wraps, headbands, and props, so there’s no need to bring anything special for your baby. Of course, you’re always welcome to bring a favorite outfit or something meaningful that you’d like included in your photographs.

I also recommend bringing a pacifier, even if your baby doesn’t normally use one. It can be especially helpful for soothing your little one during posing.

A Relaxed, Unhurried Session

Newborn sessions typically last between one and two hours, but there’s never a strict time limit. Every baby is different, and I want you to feel completely comfortable taking as much time as we need.

We’ll have plenty of opportunities for feeding, diaper changes, cuddling, and soothing throughout the session. There’s no need to worry if your baby is fussy or needs a little extra attention. We’ll simply take breaks whenever necessary and work at your baby’s pace.

During your session, I’ll capture a variety of beautiful portraits of your newborn, along with photographs with parents and siblings. I’ll guide everyone through the process, so you don’t need to worry about knowing how to pose or what to do.

After Your Session

Following your session, you’ll receive an online proof gallery where you can view your photographs and select your favorites to include in your package.

Once you’ve made your selections, I’ll carefully retouch each chosen image to create beautiful, finished portraits of your newest family member.
